Gear List

Here is a picture and list of the gear and supplies for the trip. I will be biking with a backup support of my parents who will be within a few hundred miles in an RV. If you ever plan to ride solo, you may need more than what I have here and some of these may be unnecessary. Throughout my trip, I may change up what I need. These are the basics excluding food and water.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Use lightweight materials that don't take up too much space
  • Everything doesn't need to be high-quality. Many of these can be found at Walmart and therefore can easily be replaced.
  • There are different options instead of pannier bags or a backpack. A bike trailer is also a good option.
Prices may vary depending where you live. Many of these items can be found around the house!
